Basketball Recap: Pawhuska Takes a Loss

After flying high against Epic Charter last Saturday, Pawhuska came back down to earth. The Pawhuska Huskies fell to the Wilson-Henryetta Tigers 63-59. While losing is never fun, the Huskies can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 296th, while the Tigers are ranked 119th).

Despite the loss, Pawhuska still got an impressive performance from Dax Godsey, who went 6 of 8 from beyond the arc en route to 22 points. Jenson Snodgrass also deserves some recognition as he posted his first block of the season.

Pawhuska's defeat dropped their record down to 7-10. As for Wilson-Henryetta, they pushed their record up to 10-5 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road.

Pawhuska has already played their next contest (against Pawnee), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Wilson-Henryetta has also has no score uploaded for their next matchup, this one against Glenpool.
