Baseball Recap: Mishawaka Takes a Loss

Mishawaka and Penn squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Mishawaka had to settle for second. They came up short against the Kingsmen, falling 12-2. The Cavemen haven't had much luck with the Kingsmen recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.

Shawn Nowacki was cooking despite his team's loss, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, one triple, and two RBI. That triple was his first of the season.

Mishawaka's loss dropped their record down to 18-11. As for Penn, the win (which was their 12th in a row) raised their record to 27-1.

As of now, neither Mishawaka nor the Kingsmen have any future games scheduled.
