Softball Recap: Lee Victorious

Lee barely beat Westfield Technical Academy the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Wildcats' pitchers stepped up to hand the Tigers a 12-0 shutout on Tuesday. The victory continues a trend for the Wildcats in their matchups with the Tigers: they've now won three in a row.

Lee got a massive performance out of Juliana Schuerer, who scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in three of her five plate appearances. Schuerer also put up a hit, which was her first of the season. Brooke DellaGiustina was another key player, scoring three runs and stealing a base while getting on base in three of her five plate appearances.
