Football Recap: Arkoma Mustangs vs. Webbers Falls Warriors

Arkoma was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 52-27 to the Webbers Falls Warriors. The Mustangs lost against the Warriors in their previous head to head back in November of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 60-14 score last time.

Despite the loss, Arkoma still got an impressive performance from Scout Smith, who picked up 82 receiving yards and one TD, and also rushed for 43 yards and one touchdown. Smith didn't just play on offense: he also made five total tackles (1.0 for loss) and defended one pass in addition to snagging an interception. Keith Niles made the highlight reel by snagging an interception and taking it all the way to the house.
