Basketball Recap: Millry Sets Scoring Season-High Against Excel

Millry was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 29th straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 39-27 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Excel Panthers. One positive for the Wildcats, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Excel's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kendall Plunkett, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 15 boards. Those 13 points gave Plunkett a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Uri Guy, who posted 13 points along with seven rebounds and five steals.

Millry's defeat dropped their record down to 0-14. As for Excel, their win bumped their record up to 4-16.

Millry has already played their next contest (against Sweet Water), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Excel has already played their next match, a 39-15 victory against Millry on the 28th.
