Soccer Game Preview: Conway vs. Carolina Forest

Conway hasn't had much luck against Carolina Forest recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Tigers will head out on the road to take on the Panthers at 7:30 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.

Conway had taken Christian Academy down for two straight games at home, but that winning streak came to an end on Wednesday. The Tigers fell just short of the Saints by a score of 4-3. While losing is never fun, Conway can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' South Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 116th, while Christian Academy are ranked 27th).

Meanwhile, Carolina Forest came up short against Myrtle Beach on Tuesday, falling 7-2.

Marco Mallozzi wasn't going to let the Seahawks walk away unscathed as he scored both of the Panthers' goals, bringing his season total up to 22 goals.

Carolina Forest's defeat dropped their record down to 6-11. As for Conway, their loss dropped their record down to 5-10.
