Basketball Recap: Seligman's Undefeated Season over After Three Games + How To Watch

Seligman played a tough matchup on Monday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They lost 67-44 to the Mogollon Mustangs. The Antelopes were down 50-25 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

Despite the defeat, Seligman saw an underclassman step up: freshman Vincent Heptner posted 15 points and three steals.

Leading Mogollon to victory were Gavin Owens and Quinn Tenney. Owens almost dropped a double-double with 14 points and nine rebounds, while Tenney had ten points and eight boards. Another player making a difference was Miles Martineau, who earned nine rebounds and four steals.

Having lost for the first time this season, Seligman fell to 2-1. As for Mogollon, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-0.

Coming up, Seligman will challenge BASIS Flagstaff at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Mogollon, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Round Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
