Basketball Recap: Brayden Hutchinson Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Nuview Bridge

San Jacinto Valley Academy can bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Tuesday. They secured a 52-47 W over the Nuview Bridge Knights. The Wolves have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Knights, too.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead San Jacinto Valley Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Brayden Hutchinson, who posted 14 points. Those 14 points gave Hutchinson a new career-high. Steven Abbott was another key player, putting up 15 points.

San Jacinto Valley Academy's win bumped their record up to 6-8. As for Nuview Bridge, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-13.

San Jacinto Valley Academy won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against California Military Institute at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Nuview Bridge, they and Hamilton will face off at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday without much rest having both just played. Nuview Bridge has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
