            Softball Preview: Logan Wildcats vs. Buffalo Bison        
        
		
        
        
            For the second straight game, Logan will face off against Buffalo. The Wildcats will welcome the Bison  at 6:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. The timing is sure in Logan's favor as the  squad sits on three straight wins at home while Buffalo has been banged up by three consecutive losses on the road.
Logan came out on top against Buffalo  on Monday thanks in part to the team's impressive six-run fourth inning. The Wildcats were the clear victors by  a  9-1 margin over the Bison. The Wildcats might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight matches by six  runs or more this season.

 Myleigh Adkins spent all six innings played on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on four hits and racked up 12 Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't  given up  more than one  earned run in four consecutive appearances.
 On the hitting side,  Ashlin Brumfield was  excellent,  going 1-for-4 with one  home run and two  RBI.  Lauren Adkins was another key player,  going 2-for-3 with two  runs and two  doubles.
 Logan is  on a roll lately: they've  won 14 of their last 18 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-6 record  this season. Those  victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.5 runs on average over those games. As for Buffalo, their loss dropped their record down to 10-7.
