Preview: Greene County vs. Saydel
Given their disadvantage in the MaxPreps state rankings, Saydel should expect quite the challenge on Friday. They will look to defend their home turf against Greene County at 7:30 PM. Greene County will be strutting in after a victory while Saydel will be stumbling in from a loss.
Saydel might have drawn first blood against Knoxville last Friday, but it was Knoxville who got the last laugh. Saydel didn't finish too far behind, but the squad still lost 13-19 to Knoxville.
Meanwhile, everything went Greene County's way against Nevada as they made off with a 38-10 win.
Saydel's defeat took them down to 0-2 while Greene County's victory pulled them up to 2-0. A win for Saydel would reverse both their bad luck and Greene County's good luck. We'll see if Saydel manages to pull off that tough task or if Greene County keeps their momentum going instead.
