It may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but La Habra ultimately got the result they hoped for on Tuesday. They never let the Sonora Raiders get on the board and left with an 11-0 victory. Considering the Highlanders have won seven matches by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Maddison Payne tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run over five innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up a single earned run in three consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Alyssa Hernandez was incredible, firing off two home runs and five RBI while going 2-for-3. Those five RBI gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Crystal Alatorre, who got on base in three of her four plate appearances with one home run.
