Baseball Recap: Trinity Catholic Beats Forest for Their Third Straight Win

Trinity Catholic waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Forest Wildcats a 4-0 shutout. That's more bragging rights for the Celtics, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Gavin Greathouse looked comfortable as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over four innings pitched. He is becoming a predictor of Trinity Catholic's success: when he allows at most three hits the team is undefeated (and 1-2 when he doesn't).

At the plate, Tommy Silva was excellent, going 1-for-3 with one home run. That home run marked the first that he's launched this season.

Trinity Catholic's record is now 4-2. As for Forest, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-4.
