Football Game Preview: Otis Bulldogs vs. Peetz Bulldogs

Otis will head out on the road to face off against Peetz at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.

Otis is headed into Saturday's contest hungry for a win as their strong season has now been derailed by two straight losses. They took a blow against Idalia on Friday, falling 56-12. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Bulldogs have suffered since October 11, 2024.

Although Otis took the loss, they still got scores from Mitchell Stivers and Cambric Klinzmann.

Meanwhile, Peetz strolled into their game on Friday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They strolled past Prairie with points to spare, taking the game 27-12. The 27-point effort marked the Bulldogs' lowest-scoring game of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Otis' loss dropped their record down to 6-2. As for Peetz, their victory bumped their record up to 8-0.

Saturday's matchup might be decided on the ground. Otis has been unstoppable on the ground this season, having averaged 229.8 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like Peetz struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 225.5 rushing yards. There's a good chance Saturday's contest turns into a tough fight on the ground.

Everything came up roses for Otis against Peetz in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, as the squad secured a 58-12 win. In that game, Otis amassed a halftime lead of 58-6, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Saturday.
