Basketball Recap: Sun Valley Continues Home Dominance on Thursday

Sun Valley put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They secured a 52-48 W over the Unionville Longhorns. For the Vanguards, this counts as revenge for the 69-41 win the Longhorns walked away with the last time they faced one another back in February.

Sun Valley pushed their record up to 3-0 with the victory, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.8 points per game. As for Unionville, their loss ended a five-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 1-3.
