Bellarmine College Prep is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering Junipero Serra just ended the team's ten-game winning streak on Wednesday. They and the Padres finished up their match with a 0-0 draw. The result kept the Bells happy, as they haven't lost a game since December 27, 2024.

Meanwhile, St. Ignatius College Preparatory played to a draw too, finishing 2-2 against Archbishop Mitty.

With that draw, St. Ignatius College Preparatory's record moves to 7-4-3. As for Bellarmine College Prep, they moved theirs to 13-1-2.

Bellarmine College Prep was able to grind out a solid victory over St. Ignatius College Preparatory in their previous matchup back in January, winning 3-1.
