Basketball Recap: Dexter Gets the Win

After losing to Perryville the last time they met, Dexter decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Dexter Bearcats pulled ahead with a 47-46 photo finish over the Perryville Pirates on Thursday. The victory was some much needed relief for the Bearcats as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Dexter's win bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Perryville, their loss dropped their record down to 1-3.

Dexter and Ellington will compete for holiday cheer at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Perryville, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 54-43 victory against Oak Ridge on the 14th.
