Football Game Preview: Tualatin Timberwolves vs. Tigard Tigers + How To Watch

Tualatin and Tigard are an even 5-5 against one another since October of 2016, but not for long. The Timberwolves will take on the Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Tualatin is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Oregon's top teams: West Linn, who was ranked first at the time (Tualatin was ranked seventh). The Timberwolves lost 52-28 to the Lions on Friday. The Timberwolves have struggled against the Lions recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Tualatin might have lost, but man, Cole Hachmeister was a machine: he rushed for 111 yards and one touchdown on only 13 carries. With that strong performance, Hachmeister is now averaging an impressive 102.2 rushing yards per game. Owen Hagerman also deserves some recognition as he punched in his first rushing touchdown of the season.

Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 35-7, which was the final score in Tigard's tilt against Lakeridge on Friday.

Tualatin will have to contain Cody Matthews as he made an impact in Tigard's last game. He rushed for 77 yards and one score on only five carries.

The defeat was their first on the road , dropping their record down to 5-3. As for Tigard, their loss dropped their record down to 1-7.

Everything came up roses for Tualatin against Tigard when the teams last played back in November of 2024, as the squad secured a 38-2 win. In that matchup, the Timberwolves amassed a halftime lead of 24-2, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Friday.
