El Rancho is 9-1 against Whittier since March of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Dons will be playing in front of their home fans against the Cardinals at 3:15 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Torrance hit El Rancho with a nine-run first inning on Saturday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Dons came up short against the Tartars, falling 10-2.

Meanwhile, Whittier was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They fell 7-3 to California.

El Rancho's loss dropped their record down to 13-13. As for Whittier, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-16.

El Rancho was able to grind out a solid win over Whittier in their previous matchup back in April, winning 5-2. Do the Dons have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Cardinals turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
