Baseball Recap: Greenwood Christian Takes a Loss

After flying high against Spartanburg Day last Friday, Greenwood Christian came back down to earth. The Greenwood Christian Hawks fell just short of the Crescent Tigers by a score of 2-1 on Monday. The contest marked the Hawks' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Greenwood Christian saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brycen Moore, who went 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

Greenwood Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Crescent, their victory ended a five-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Greenwood Christian will square off against Crescent at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Crescent, they will face off against Pickens at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
