Volleyball Game Preview: Foothill Cougars vs. Shasta Wolves + How To Watch

After both having extra time off, the Foothill Cougars and the Shasta Wolves will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams are strolling into their contests after big wins in their previous games.

On Thursday, Foothill made easy work of Red Bluff and carried off a 3-0 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Cougars.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Foothill was: they took every set by at least ten points. The final score came out to 25-15, 25-15, 25-13.

Among those leading the charge was Bryah Lockwood, who had 14 digs and one assist. That's the most digs she has posted since back in September.

Foothill was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 14 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least six aces in 14 consecutive matches.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Shasta, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over Enterprise on Thursday.

Shasta was especially dominant in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-9, 25-19.

Foothill's record is now 15-11. As for Shasta, their record now sits at 20-9.

Foothill came up short against Shasta in their previous meeting last Thursday, falling 3-1. Can the Cougars avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
