Basketball Recap: Star Valley Falls Short of Green River in the Playoffs

Star Valley and Green River squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Star Valley had to settle for second. They had to suffer through a 76-40 loss at the hands of the Green River Wolves. The defeat continues a trend for the Braves in their meetings with the Wolves: they've now lost three in a row.

Several Braves players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Ambrey Nelson, who posted nine points. Emily Dana was another key player, putting up ten points.

Star Valley's loss dropped their record down to 14-12. As for Green River, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-9 record this season.

Star Valley does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Green River has already played their next contest (against Natrona County), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
