Winnebago is ranked highly in their home state and on Thursday they took on another highly ranked team in the form of Todd County. The Indians claimed a resounding 38-8 win over the Falcons. Fans of the Indians have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 20+ points.

Raiden Decora had another great game (as he tends to do), rushing for 163 yards and two scores while picking up 8.2 yards per carry. He was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 56 yards. The team also got some help courtesy of Elijah Whitebear, who threw for eight yards and a pair of touchdowns.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Winnebago was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 230 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 211 rushing yards in four consecutive matchups.

Despite the loss, Todd County still got an impressive performance from Ciante Black Spotted Horse, who rushed for 54 yards and one TD.

Winnebago's victory bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Todd County, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 4-1.

Coming up, Winnebago will host Little Wound at 2:00 p.m. on Friday. The Mustangs will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Indians surely won't give up without a fight. As for Todd County, they are taking a road trip to challenge Cheyenne-Eagle Butte/Tiospaye Topa at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Todd County will be up against Cheyenne-Eagle Butte/Tiospaye Topa's rather soft defense (which has allowed 37.8 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
