Archbishop Moeller had to skate by with only a two-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 13-run drubbing they dealt Centerville on Monday. The Fighting Crusaders were the clear victors by a 14-1 margin over the Elks. Considering the Fighting Crusaders have won nine matchups by more than five runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Archbishop Moeller has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 13 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-3-1 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.3 runs on average over those games. As for Centerville, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 13-7.

Archbishop Moeller and Centerville are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. The Fighting Crusaders will look to defend their home field on the 27th against Western Hills at 5:00 p.m. As for Centerville, they will square off against Olentangy Orange at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Pioneers will roll in looking for their tenth straight win, something the Elks surely won't give up without a fight.
