Baseball Recap: Germantown's Win Ends Three-Game Losing Streak on the Road

It may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Germantown ultimately got the result they hoped for on Thursday. They came out on top against the West Jones Mustangs by a score of 7-4. That's more bragging rights for the Mavericks, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Germantown saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jackson Estes, who went 1-for-4 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run. Another was Will Sheehan, who earned two runs and one stolen base.

Germantown's win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 14-13. As for West Jones, their loss dropped their record down to 15-10.

Germantown wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, an 11-7 victory against Grenada on the 18th. West Jones does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
