Soccer Recap: West Brunswick Comes Up Short

West Brunswick was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 6-0 to the Hoggard Vikings. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Hoggard this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 9-0 back in March.

West Brunswick's loss dropped their record down to 5-13-2. As for Hoggard, their win was their 11th straight at home, which pushed their record up to 17-1.

West Brunswick didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next game, a 2-1 defeat against New Hanover on the 5th. As for Hoggard, they have also already played their next matchup, a 4-2 victory against Topsail on the 5th.
