Basketball Recap: Stuart W. Cramer Makes It 17 in a Row at Home

Stuart W. Cramer had won 16 straight home games dating back to last season and Oshauna Holland did her part to make it 17 on Friday. The Stuart W. Cramer Storm took their game with ease, bagging an 84-25 win over the North Gaston Wildcats thanks in part to Holland, who shot 8-for-9 from downtown and dropped a double-double on 40 points and ten steals. The match was her 27th in a row with at least ten points.

The team also got some help courtesy of Lauren Humphrey, who went 5 for 7 en route to 11 points and three blocks. She is on a roll when it comes to blocks, as she's now posted two or more in the last eight games she's played.

North Gaston's loss came despite strong showings from Hailey Holmes and Marisiddaiah Crocker. Holmes posted 13 points, while Crocker had two points.

Stuart W. Cramer's victory bumped their record up to 18-2. As for North Gaston, they have also been struggling recently as they've lost 12 of their last 13 contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-17 record this season.

Stuart W. Cramer wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 57-56 win against South Point on the 4th. North Gaston has also already played their next matchup, a 68-30 defeat against Forestview on the 4th.
