Baseball Recap: Five Straight Home Wins for Rochester Hills Christian

Rochester Hills Christian barely beat Bethany Christian the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. Rochester Hills Christian blew past Bethany Christian 16-3 on Friday. The win continues a trend for Rochester Hills Christian in their matchups with Bethany Christian: they've now won five in a row.

Jacob Uptain made a splash no matter where he played. On the mound, he pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. Uptain was also big at the plate, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Ryan Van Camp, who went 2-for-3 with three RBI and two runs. Those two hits gave him a new career-high. Noah Nelson was another key player, getting on base in two of his four plate appearances with two runs and two RBI.
