Game recap: San Lorenzo High School Football Team beats Mt. Diablo

CONCORD, Calif. - Mt. Diablo (Concord, Calif.) lost to San Lorenzo (Calif.), 30-21.

After taking the lead on a touchdown run by Darneail Jenkins, the Red Devils went into halftime with a 21-12 lead. The Rebels took the lead for good with a touchdown run in the third quarter.

The victory avenged San Lorenzo's close 13-12 loss to Mt. Diablo last season.

Mt. Diablo (0-2) will play a non-conference game against Fremont next week, while San Lorenzo (2-0) will take on Newark Memorial also in a non-conference game.
