Baseball Recap: Beacon Comes Up Short

Beacon blew Chester out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Sunday Chester got their revenge. The Bulldogs fell just short of the Hambletonians by a score of 4-2. The matchup marked the Bulldogs' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

This is the second loss in a row for Beacon and nudges their season record down to 6-3. As for Chester, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 6-3.

Coming up, Beacon will challenge Port Jervis at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Raiders will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each game than the last. As for Chester, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Liberty at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
