Softball Recap: Viola Comes Up Short

Viola lost against Yellville-Summit back in March of 2017, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Longhorns took a 6-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Panthers. The Longhorns have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Viola's defeat dropped their record down to 7-6. As for Yellville-Summit, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 9-9.

Looking ahead, Viola will square off against Concord at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Pirates will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something the Longhorns surely won't give up without a fight. Yellville-Summit has already played their next matchup (against Bergman), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
