Recap: Sierra Grande Panthers vs. Crowley County Chargers

This season hasn't been kind to the Sierra Grande Panthers, who are still winless after their fourth matchup. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 42-27 to Crowley County, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. While losing is never fun, Sierra Grande can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Colorado basketball rankings (they are ranked 306th, while Crowley County is ranked 113th).

Jaylyn Quezada was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with five steals.

Sierra Grande bumped their record down to 0-4 with that loss, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Crowley County, the win for they keeps them at an undefeated 6-0.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Sierra Grande is on the road again on Saturday and play against Calhan at 9:00 a.m. on December 16th. As for Crowley County, they will take on Center on Saturday. Hopefully Center focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 12 on Friday.
