Geraldine had to endure a three-match losing streak, but that streak is no more. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Valley Head Tigers on Monday. That's more bragging rights for the Bulldogs, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The final score came out to 25-20, 25-7, 25-10.

Leading Geraldine to victory were Mylee Pittman and Lana Rowell. Pittman had seven digs and three aces, while Rowell hit 81.2% for 13 kills and six digs and six aces. The last time Rowell's hitting percentage was this high was back in September of 2024.

They weren't the only good servers: Geraldine was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 19 aces. They are a perfect 5-0 when they serve at least ten aces.

Geraldine's win bumped their record up to 13-23. As for Valley Head, they dropped their record down to 1-9 with the loss, which was their sixth straight at home.

Looking ahead, Geraldine will challenge Sylvania at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Valley Head, they will take on Crossville at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
