Volleyball Recap: Riverdale Raiders vs. Gulf Coast Sharks

With a playoff game on the line, Riverdale rose to the challenge on Wednesday. They put the hurt on the Gulf Coast Sharks with a sharp 3-0 victory. Winning may never get old, but the Raiders sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

Riverdale never let Gulf Coast on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-22, 25-14.

Riverdale was led to victory by Emily Grant and Natalie Grant. Emily had nine digs and 16 assists, while Natalie had ten digs. Emily is on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 12 or more in the last six games she's played dating back to last season.
