Volleyball Recap: Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory Takes a Loss

Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory lost against Cathedral back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Braves took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Fighting Irish. The Braves just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The final score came out to 14-25, 25-17, 25-17, 25-19.

Kyle Conner paced Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory's offense, picking up 12 kills. Conner got some help from Henry Gallagher and his 20 assists.

Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Cathedral, their record is now 5-1.

Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Perry Meridian on the 10th. As for Cathedral, they have also already played their next game, a 3-0 defeat against Roncalli on the 10th.
