The Herculaneum Black Cats scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They walked away with a 79-68 win over Bismarck. The victory was just what Herculaneum needed coming off of a 66-45 defeat in their prior game.

Bismarck's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Daven Miller, who scored 30 points along with eight rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Miller has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Landon Kell, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and ten rebounds.

Herculaneum's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-11. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.5 points per game. As for Bismarck, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight games, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-14 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Herculaneum will take on Valley Park at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Valley Park's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last 14 matches. As for Bismarck, they will head out on the road to square off against Grandview at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully Bismarck focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 19 on Tuesday.
