Softball Recap: Cortez Comes Up Short

Cortez lost to Tempe on Monday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Colts came up short against the Buffaloes, falling 23-8. The Colts have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Cortez's loss dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Tempe, they now have a winning record of 6-5.

Cortez has already played their next contest, a 21-0 defeat against Cactus on the 3rd. As for Tempe, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 31-11 win against Maryvale on the 3rd.
