Barron extended their winning streak to three on Friday, bumping their season record up to 13-3-1 in the process. Everything went their way against the Hayward Hurricanes as they made off with a 7-1 victory. The result was nothing new for the Golden Bears, who have now won nine matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

As for Hayward, with the loss, they broke their five-game winning streak and moved their record to 11-4-1. The game marked their lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

For Hayward's part, they saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Mckinley Seiling, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one run.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Barron will face off against Chequamegon at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Hayward, they will challenge Osceola at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
