Maple Grove came tearing into Saturday's game with six straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Centennial Cougars. That's more bragging rights for the Crimson, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Kacie Schulte paced Maple Grove's offense, picking up 12 kills. Schulte got some help from Amanda Swiers and her 19 assists. Schulte was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Maple Grove's win bumped their record up to 11-3. As for Centennial, with the defeat, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 8-4.

Maple Grove didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-1 victory against Monticello on the 13th. As for Centennial, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Stillwater on the 13th.
