Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Granite Hills). They never let the Bostonia Global Lobos onto the board and left with a 10-0 win on Saturday. Given the Eagles' advantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 386th, while the Lobos are ranked 1108th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

The victory was the third in a row for Granite Hills, bringing their record for this year to 8-7-2. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those three games. As for Bostonia Global, their loss dropped their record down to 4-3.

Granite Hills didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against El Capitan on the 29th. Bostonia Global has also already played their next matchup, a 4-1 victory against River Valley on the 28th.
