Mullen has gone a perfect 10-0 against Smoky Hill recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. After both having extra time off, the two teams will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 6:30 p.m.

Last Thursday, Mullen didn't have quite enough to beat Cherokee Trail and fell 3-2. While the Mustangs didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Cougars 25-18 in the first set.

Mullen took Cherokee Trail into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking four-point loss. The match finished with set scores of 18-25, 25-19, 25-21, 25-27, 15-11.

Meanwhile, Smoky Hill can bid farewell to their six-match losing streak thanks to their match last Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over Overland.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-16, 25-20.

Smoky Hill's victory was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-6 and their overall record up to 9-11. As for Mullen, their defeat ended a six-match streak of away wins and brought them to 13-3.

Mullen took their win against Smoky Hill when the teams last played back in September by a conclusive 3-0 score. Do the Mustangs have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Buffaloes turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
