Baseball Recap: Pine Forest Comes Up Short

Pine Forest was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 15-2 to the Central Jaguars.

Pine Forest saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Char'Son Floyd, who scored a run while going 1-for-3. AL Leatherwood also deserves some recognition as he scored his first run of the season.

Pine Forest's loss dropped their record down to 0-4.

Pine Forest wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 9-1 defeat against West Florida on the 20th. As for Central, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 10-3 win against Blacksher on the 21st.
