Basketball Recap: Bad Axe Comes Up Short

Bad Axe was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 44-21 to the Cass City Red Hawks. The contest marked the Hatchets' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Bad Axe's defeat dropped their record down to 6-6-1. As for Cass City, the victory (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 12-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bad Axe will face off against Reese at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Cass City, they will take on Unionville-Sebewaing at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Cass City's defense has only allowed 27 points per game this season, so Unionville-Sebewaing's offense will have their work cut out for them.
