A big part of Western's victory came down to the chemistry between Sebastian Circo and his top target Tromon Isaac, Jr.. Circo threw for 207 yards and three touchdowns while Isaac, Jr. picked up 140 receiving yards and two touchdowns. Isaac, Jr. showed off some serious burst, lighting up the secondary with a catch for 62 yards.

Palmetto's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 6-5. As for Western, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 7-4.
