Volleyball Recap: Boiling Springs Comes Up Short at Home Against Riverside

Boiling Springs unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They fell 2-0 to the Riverside Warriors on Saturday. The loss continues a trend for the Bulldogs in their meetings with the Warriors: they've now lost three in a row.

While Boiling Springs had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 19 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-21.

Kennedy Cole paced Boiling Springs' offense, picking up five kills. Cole got some help from Katie Labrie and her seven assists.

Boiling Springs has already played their next game, a 2-1 victory against J.L. Mann on the 16th. As for Riverside, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Pendleton on the 16th.
