Volleyball Recap: Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk Takes a Loss

Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk lost against Mohonasen back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Ravens fell 3-1 to the Warriors.

Mohonasen was led to victory by Meghan Lavenia and Ella Rickard. Lavenia had 15 digs and four aces, while RickaRd had eight digs and three aces. With that strong performance, Lavenia is now averaging an impressive 2.1 aces per game. Rayna Robert also deserves some recognition as she had her first kill of the season.

Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk's loss dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Mohonasen, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-4.

Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Lansingburgh on the 14th. As for Mohonasen, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Mekeel Christian Academy on the 12th.
