Verona has gone a perfect 9-0 against Madison West recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Wildcats will be playing in front of their home fans against the Regents at 5:00 p.m. The timing is sure in Verona's favor as the team sits on seven straight wins at home (dating back to last season) while Madison West has been banged up by 12 consecutive losses on the road also dating back to last season.

It was a proper cat-fight when Verona took on Janesville Craig on Thursday. The Wildcats put the hurt on the Cougars with a sharp 8-2 victory. The result was nothing new for the Wildcats, who have now won three matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

Meanwhile, Madison West came up short against Vel Phillips Memorial on Tuesday and fell 5-1.

Madison West saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Mikaela Smith, who went 1-for-3 with one RBI. That RBI was Smith's first of the season.

Verona's win bumped their record up to 8-2. As for Madison West, their loss dropped their record down to 1-8.
