Softball Recap: West Bridgewater Wildcats vs. Old Rochester Regional Bulldogs
West Bridgewater lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Old Rochester Regional, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Wednesday's matchup. The Wildcats blew past the Bulldogs 16-6 on Wednesday. The Wildcats might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three contests by six runs or more this season.
Haylee Krakowski was a standout: she went a perfect 5-for-5 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. That home run marked the first that she launched this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Brianna LaGrange, who went 3-for-5 with five RBI, three doubles, and two runs.
Krakowski wasn't the only one making solid contact: West Bridgewater kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 25 hits. The Wildcats are a perfect 3-0 when they post 11 or more hits.
