After a string of ten wins, Chaparral's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They fell 57-50 to the Belton Tigers. While losing is never fun, the Bobcats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 201st, while the Tigers are ranked 99th).

Chaparral's defeat ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 16-9. As for Belton, the victory (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 21-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Chaparral will take on Lake Belton at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Belton, they will square off against Ellison at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
