Seattle Prep scored the most runs they've had this season on Thursday, but it wasn't enough. They came up short against the Ballard Beavers, falling 16-6. The defeat continues a trend for the Panthers in their meetings with the Beavers: they've now lost three in a row.

Amelie De LaPorte-Manahan was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-4 with three RBI and two doubles. Those two doubles gave her a new career-high. Fiona Dunn also deserves some recognition as she got her first hit of the season.

Seattle Prep's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Ballard, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-1.

Coming up, Seattle Prep will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Nathan Hale at 4:00 p.m. As for Ballard, they will head out to take on Skyline at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
