Volleyball Recap: Udall Takes a Loss

Fans were treated to a battle of the Eagles on Saturday. Udall fell just short of Norwich by a score of 2-1. Udall has struggled against Norwich recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.

Liberty Mason paced Udall's offense, picking up 11 kills. Mason got some help from Brilee Pellegrini and her 15 assists. Mason also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Abriann Saavedra, racking up two apiece.

Udall now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Norwich, with the win, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 4-4.

Udall wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Sunrise Christian Academy on the 13th. As for Norwich, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-1 victory against Caldwell on the 13th.
